I recently performed a home inspection on a rehabbed NSP property for one of my fantastic clients and had a splashing discovery.

For those of you who are wondering what an NSP property is, let me explain. NSP stands for Neighborhood Stabilization Program. These foreclosed homes in many jurisdictions have already been repaired, painted and are ready for occupancy.

Many buyers in the metro Atlanta area opt out of having these homes inspected because they “appear” to be in wonderful condition. As you can see in the video provided, sometimes there are hidden surprises.

The master shower was leaking and water was running down into the dining room ceiling and made its way out through the light fixture.

You can tell by my client’s body language  that she was a little less than pleased with this situation. But when its all said and done, she’s much happier to find out about this leak now rather than later. :-)
